Here are some questions we are quite often asked when speaking with customers.

What makes of boiler do you repair and install?

As qualified and gas safe accredited engineers, we are able to repair and install most types of boilers, but we are specialists in dealing with Glow Worm, Worcester Bosch, Ideal and Baxi.

How far do you travel to see customers?

To provide the most responsive service we can to customers, we work within a 20 mile radius of Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. Call out charges may apply.

Do you do domestic or commercial work?

To ensure we provide the best service to our domestic customers, we predominantly do domestic work. If we do have space available, we can occasionally schedule in commercial work – please just give us a call and we can advise accordingly.

Is my boiler still under warranty?

The best idea is to check the manufacturer website or call their helpline. Make sure you have your serial number to hand when you check.

Do I have to service my boiler to maintain its warranty?

Generally, yes. Manufacturers expect equipment to be kept in good working order.

Can someone else install my boiler, then you commission it?

Unfortunately not. Part of the commissioning process includes being able to certify that it’s been installed in the correct way. If we haven’t installed it ourselves, we won’t know the installation process that has been followed by the installer.

Do I have to pay a call out charge?

We aim to fix on-site where possible, to prevent inconveniencing you with another visit. On occasions where this isn’t possible, a small charge would apply, to cover our travel costs and time.

Do you charge for quotes?

Certainly not. Some plumbers do, but we don’t. We know that because we are reasonably priced and provide good value for customers, we tend to win most of the work we quote, which means we don’t have to charge for our quotes.
